TTI announces acquisition of Campbell Collins

TTI has acquired UK franchised distributor Campbell Collins. Based in Stevenage, UK, Campbell Collins is a specialty distributor focused on power related products from manufacturers of power supply and capacitor products. The company is a franchised, design-in distributor for a number of leading power supply manufacturers such as Gaia Converter and Ericsson Power Modules, as well as for the full line of KEMET companies including BHC, Arcotronics and Evox Rifa.

“I am pleased to be integrating the 30-years of experience and specialty offered by the Campbell Collins team into our European strategy,” said Gene Conahan, President TTI Europe and Asia. “The collaboration of the TTI and Campbell Collins team of product experts will open new market segments for us and our existing suppliers and help build a sound and successful power solution business in Europe.”  Effective immediately, Philip Goff will succeed Campbell Collins’ Founder and Managing Director, Ian Campbell as General Manager. Goff will report to Glyn Dennehy, Senior Vice President and General Manager, TTI Europe. Campbell Collins will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of TTI, Inc.

In response to the acquisition and his new role as General Manger of Campbell Collins, Goff said, “To say that I appreciate the opportunity to participate in Campbell Collins’ next phase of growth would be an understatement, I thank Mr. Campbell for the sound principles he built this company upon – those of putting our customers first and striving always to excel in both service and technical ability; values I know the people at TTI share. I look forward to the benefits this relationship will offer our associates, customers and suppliers.”
