Silica has announced its largest European training series so far, visiting twenty venues throughout Europe. Joining forces with Cypress, Freescale, Infineon, Intel, Microchip, NXP, Renesas, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and ARM, around 1000 design engineers are expected to attend between June and October 2012.
Whilst the seminars focus on ARM and proprietary MCU and processor architectures, the approach is application-oriented rather than product-specific. The one-day seminars will offer up to sixteen 75-minute training courses for attendees to choose from, with each track covering applications relevant to the individual market. The use of multiple learning tracks comprised of very technical solution modules and live demonstrations will allow designers to explore how solutions can be applied to their own design innovations.
Attendees will have access to industry experts and partner demonstration exhibits from all suppliers as well as from a number of software and tool providers (varying by location), who will also be partnering with Silica for the MCU Solution Summit.
The kick-off summit will take place in Milan on 19 June, followed by events in Germany, Italy, UK, France, Spain, Benelux and Nordic. See the full schedule at http://www.silica.com/mcu-summit
