Farnell says it’s the first European distributor to stock Amphenol’s TMM range of contact spacing connectors.
The new components are designed for wire-to-wire and board-to-board interconnections in a wide range of industrial and telecoms applications.
These new Amphenol TMM connectors have a 1.27mm pitch contact spacing and are available in 12 circuit sizes that encompass parts with between 4 and 26 poles. Copper alloy contacts are fully tinned to protect against corrosion and kinked to enhance connector retention whilst soldering takes place. Locking latches are available on female connectors.
Amphenol’s TMM connectors have current and voltage ratings of 1A and 230 V respectively. Contact resistance is 20 milliohms (max), and the red thermoplastic bodied UL 94 V0 rated parts have an insulation resistance of 1000 mega ohm (min), and a withstand voltage of 500 VAC. Operating temperature range is -40 ºC to +105 ºC.
